By day Matt Chapman is an airline Captain. Come the weekend he trades in his bulky airframe for an single seat Eale 580 to thrill crowds at airshows nationwide. He dove into aerobatics in 1984 and has been honing his skills ever since. He was the highest-ranking American pilot at the 1998 World Aerobatic Championships in which he brought home a Bronze Medal. He will perform both Saturday and Sunday at the Chicago Air & Water Show.
